Tout a commencé avec un bout de corde, noué avec amour autour du poignet du jeune capitaine Thomas, et d’une manille. Ce premier bracelet, conçu à la main par Mary pour son fils, était bien plus qu’un simple bijou : il incarnait un lien indéfectible et une promesse. Celle de perpétuer un héritage fondé sur l’amour du détail, la créativité et un savoir-faire d’exception.

Pioneer of the concept of nautical bracelets, the Mary and the Captain brand, proudly labeled Made in France, embodies the authenticity of costume jewelry from its boutique-workshop nestled in the heart of rue Saint-Antoine, in the picturesque Suquet district, a stone's throw from the old port of Cannes.
En 2015, portée par sa passion et son désir d’indépendance créative, Mary a fondé MARY AND THE CAPTAIN. Dès ses premières présentations au grand public, les Bracelets Nautiques ont conquis par leur singularité et leur qualité artisanale. Plus qu’un simple accessoire, chaque création raconte une histoire : celle d’un voyage, d’un attachement profond à l’artisanat et d’une quête permanente d’originalité et d’excellence.
Situé à Cannes, notre atelier est le lieu où chaque bijou prend vie avec la même rigueur et la même exigence qu’au premier jour. Nous sélectionnons avec soin des cordages marins, des accessoires inspirés du nautisme et des matériaux d’exception, garantissant ainsi des pièces uniques, façonnées dans le respect des traditions artisanales. Ici, pas de production de masse, mais un travail minutieux où la passion et l’expertise se rencontrent à chaque étape de fabrication.
Encore aujourd’hui, ce premier bracelet imaginé pour Captain Thomas reste notre boussole. Il incarne l’essence de MARY AND THE CAPTAIN: une transmission d’authenticité, un engagement pour l’excellence et une passion intemporelle pour l’artisanat.
